JOSTEROPS, sebuah kelompok/komunitas peternak pleci yang lahir pada tanggal 11 Nopember 2014 di Yogyakarta.
Lahir dari sebuah kecintaan terhadap pleci sekaligus kekhawatiran akan keberadaan pleci di alam liar yang semakin memprihatinkan.
Atas dasar hal tersebut secara terus menerus Josterops aktif berpartisipasi mengajak para penggemar burung pleci untuk memulai menangkar pleci agar tidak punah. Bertukar pengalaman dan berdiskusi mengenai menangkar pleci.

JOSTEROPS, A group of enthusiasts dedicated to the preservation of the white eye. A community formed in Yogyakarta on November 11th 2014.
A group formed from the love of the white eye and concerns for it’s very existance in the wild due to the capture and selling of this bird in large numbers, a grave matter of concern. Zosterops, are actively participating and advocating that fans wishing to purchase white eye buy birds that have been cage bred and are rung thus limiting the sale of the wild caught species.
We are a community dedicated to preserving the wild population through our conservation policy and offer help and advice to those fans wishing to keep, show and breed.
